Product Coordinator, Special Projects

Position Summary:

The Special Projects Coordinator is responsible for supporting the overall SMU business division and internal product management process. They will work under close direction of the Assoc. Product Line Manager & Director of Special Projects in collaboration with other internal teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

•

Build out SMU Product WIPs and keep up-to-date with all style info for internal team reference

• Manage external partner approvals and product uploads for collaboration product

• Provide bi-weekly approval status report for all open SMU projects

• Set up all styles in the internal product systems

• Oversee SMU Product Drive to make sure all folders have updated line sheets

Special Projects/Tasks:

• Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Product Development, and Production Teams to hit all internal product entry deliverables

Experience:

• Minimum 1-2+ years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of apparel product development lifecycle

• Knowledge of product calendars understanding timelines and meeting deadlines

• Bachelor's Degree

Skills:

• Experience working in PLM systems is a plus

• Experience and knowledge of product development process/calendar/timelines

• Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills

• Well-versed in Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets
