We are seeking an experienced
Manufacturer Manager
with a strong background in
dress coat production
to lead and oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in
Industrial Engineering
, have at least
10+ years of experience
in apparel manufacturing, and demonstrate proven leadership in managing large-scale production lines. This role involves optimizing production processes, ensuring quality control, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
Lead and manage the full production cycle of dress coats, from planning to final output. Ensure high-quality production standards are met and maintained across all stages.
Process Optimization:
Analyze and optimize manufacturing workflows to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Leadership & Team Management:
Supervise and mentor a team of production supervisors, quality control staff, and other manufacturing personnel. Ensure the team adheres to best practices in garment production and safety protocols.
Quality Control:
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to meet industry standards and client specifications for dress coats.
Cost Management:
Monitor production costs and work to ensure profitability by managing resources efficiently and controlling operational expenses.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement, integrating new technologies, and promoting lean manufacturing principles.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Industrial Engineering
is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in production management or lean manufacturing are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum
10+ years of experience
in apparel manufacturing, with a strong focus on dress coats, outerwear, or similar garment types.
Industry Expertise:
Comprehensive knowledge of dress coat construction, textile production techniques, and fabric types specific to dress coats.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead and manage large teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
Technical Expertise:
In-depth understanding of industrial engineering principles, production management systems (e.g., ERP systems), and lean manufacturing methodologies.
Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making. Ability to analyze production metrics and implement improvement initiatives.
Bilingual (Spanish/English):
Fluency in both languages is highly preferred, as the role requires communication with international stakeholders and local teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with international brands and managing large-scale garment production.
Familiarity with advanced textile technologies and sustainable production practices.
Experience working with cross-functional teams across procurement, logistics, and quality assurance.
