Rondo is a technology and project company deploying Rondo Heat Batteries to meet the energy demands of industrial processes that previously difficult to transition to carbon-free energy sources. This lawyer will play a key part in the Company's business of developing, constructing, owning, and operating thermal energy storage ("TES") projects throughout the United States and around the globe. A close working relationship with the commercial team is essential. While the project development aspect will be the predominant functional responsibility, the position will also take on the other corporate and commercial legal responsibilities.

Job Title: We have flexibility on the title based on the candidate's experience and qualifications
Primary Job Responsibilities: Attend to all aspects and issues related to TES project development and financing Structure, draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including term sheets; preliminary development agreements; customers agreements; engineering, procurement, and construction contracts; and O&M agreements Perform diligence and provide diligence guidance to development teams and external counsel regarding development Provide general legal support to finance, business development, construction, and operations teams in the deployment of TES projects Provide general legal counsel and strategic guidance to the commercial team and senior and executive level management Effectively and efficiently engage and manage outside counsel Education, Qualifications, and Expertise: A law degree from an accredited law school Bar membership in good standing in at least one jurisdiction. 3 - 25 years of experience in the energy or infrastructure industries. The estimated annual salary range for this role is $140,000 to $280,000 plus equity compensation. The pay band is wide to accommodate candidates' diverse skill levels and experience.
