Job Description: Project Finance Associate - Boston/DCOverview Mintz is seeking an associate with 4+ years of experience to join our energy project development and finance practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in US project development and finance with distributed and utility-scale renewable energy projects. Experience with principal financing documentation and key commercial project documentation is essential. Boston and DC are the preferred office locations. Pay Range: $310,000 - $365,000 per yearResponsibilities Provide legal support for energy project development and finance practice.Handle US project development and finance with distributed and utility-scale renewable energy projects.Manage principal financing documentation, including purchase agreements, partnership agreements, credit agreements, security and pledge agreements, and depositary agreements.Handle key commercial project documentation, including development agreements, PPAs, EPCs, site control, and interconnection agreements, as well as related due diligence.Collaborate with team members, working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm's published guidelines.Qualifications JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.Admitted or eligible for admission in MA, DC, NY, or CA.At least four years of project finance experience at a law firm.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients.Ability to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.
