We seek a talented individual to join our company in a Project Manager role. You will be part of a family owned and operated company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of precast concrete products used for above and below ground construction projects. This employment opportunity includes being active in all aspects of the design and production process ranging from the initial submittal/approval phase all the way to the installation and closeout stage.

The chosen candidate must be suited to work in fast paced environment while understanding the individual stages of the project and how this will impact the overall timeline of the job. Key Responsibilities Frequent communication and coordination with customers to ensure project goals are met. Work as a team with our Drafting/Engineering department and design firms to create submittals and production drawings. Coordinate with our production team to get structures built in an effective and timely manner. Set up deliveries with our Freight/Dispatch department. Submit and track Change Order and RFIs Read and interpret plans and specifications. Review submittal drawings to be in compliance with contracts plans and specifications Verify vendors fabrication drawings are in agreement with the details and material specifications in approved shop drawings. Establish project schedules with all parties involved to satisfy project deadlines Visit jobsites when needed throughout the project duration Desired Skills and Experience BS Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, E.I.T. preferred.
Construction Management emphasis.
0-3 years construction management experience.
Ability to work on several projects concurrently.
Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with the use of computers including spreadsheets, word processing, and engineering software.
Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively on a project team.
Ability to plan ones own time and manage the time of subcontractors/vendors, as needed.
Ability to problem solve, complete assigned tasks efficiently, and critically think when issues arise.
Strong sense of urgency and self- initiative to meet client deadlines.
Experience using AutoCAD and/or DraftSight preferred.
