Summary:
The Project Manager will manage the administration of product development projects, including cross-functional team management, tactical support & assistance within the Marketing Department for Bellisio Foods.
Essential Functions:
As our Project Manager, you will manage process and lead team on all new product development, commercialization, and process updates related projects at Bellisio Foods. Key activities include but are not limited to:
Manage all assigned projects and lead the greater cross-functional team through the project phases. Establish and update key timelines and hold parties accountable for deliverables (including R&D, operations, finance, graphics, packaging, etc.) Maintain and release team updates and lead weekly calls with all cross-functional team members and co-manufacturers where applicable. Source and distribute business planning information associated with projects (costs, volumes, operational details, etc.) Monitor due dates/deadlines and ensure that the responsible parties deliver on time. Lead and direct new project kick-offs, new/changed product setups, schedule elements of product trials and first production, and manage all associated documentation and workflows. Act as first point of contact for all project-related issues, questions, and general project direction. Direct and supervise the project documentation including routing for product specifications. Skills:Experience in managing complex projects with diverse teams Efficient time management, and ability to handle many projects at one time Clear written and oral communication skills Problem solver with innovative thinking Logical and methodical thinker to prioritize projects and deadlines appropriately Organized and detail oriented Analytical and comfortable with complex information Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, commitment and drive to achieve Tolerance for ambiguity and flexibility to adapt to evolving environment and priorities Works well in teams - friendly and professional Experience and interest in working in an entrepreneurial environment Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience: Project Management experience in a traditional packaged foods environment preferred 3+ years of formal project management experience or equivalent EDUCATION: B.S. degree in related field Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
