Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: San Ramon, CA
Duration :12+ months Contract
Pay Range: $1 - $27/hr
Shift schedule: 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Job Description:
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our medical devices. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and testing purchased materials, components, and products to meet rigorous standards.
Key Responsibilities: Inspection and Testing: Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections and tests on medical devices, following documented procedures and policies. Data Recording: Accurately record inspection and test data, using written instructions and procedures. Equipment Operation: Operate various test and measurement equipment, including optical measurement equipment, hand tools, gauges, pressure and force gauge testing. Process Improvement: Propose changes to policies and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency. Non-Conformance Documentation: Document non-conformances in the Non-Conforming Material Review system. Data Analysis: Participate in GR&R studies and collect data for First Article inspections. Training: Train other inspectors on inspection procedures and techniques. Data Management: Assist in gathering, analyzing, and trending data to identify quality trends. Compliance: Adhere to FDA regulations, GMP, ISO 13485, and company policies and procedures. Collaboration: Maintain positive and cooperative relationships with colleagues, customers, contractors, and vendors. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in the medical device industry Experience with vision systems and optical measurement equipment Knowledge of blueprint reading, inspection sampling techniques, FDA regulations, GMP, and ISO 13485 Strong communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel ASQ CMI certification preferred Experience working in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund About the Company:
