5+ years' experience in records management. Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and recommend best practices for managing inherent records. Demonstrated ability to influence other actions without direct authority. Experience in working with international locations. Ability to handle large workload while maintaining high quality output. Ability to work independently and proactively Ability to manage sensitive and highly confidential information with discretion and integrity. Working Relationships
Reports to Assistant General Counsel, IP and Technology. Supports 800+ records custodians at U.S. and international locations. Partners closely with the Legal, HR, ES and Finance depts. Collaborates with all levels of management Principal Duties
Fully responsible for multiple small projects, including but not limited to domestic and international business program on boarding, RIM awareness campaigns, policy reviews, records processing audits, legally defensible records destruction and historical artefact collection, display and preservation. Accountable for individual performance and results. Independently solves problems within functional area of expertise. Collaborates with all company business units to identify problems within workflows and problem solve to develop and integrate solutions that decrease risk and increase productivity. Trains, delegates work to and mentor's records custodians companywide in the effective implementation of records management practices. Evaluates and responds to evolving business, legal and historical needs impacting record-keeping requirements and procedures. Manages the capture, storage and destruction of confidential company information at multiple record centers on schedule and within budget. Provides litigation and audit support by ensuring compliance with internal and external agency records freeze orders. Responsible for developing individual contributors.
