The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, coaching, and training a team of Major Market-focused sales directors. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a proven track record in employee development, and an extensive background in B2B sales. The Regional VP will collaborate to establish and execute sales goals for the specified region, manage a team to maximize sales revenue, and ensure that the team stays within budget. They will also be involved in recruiting, hiring, and training sales staff, as well as handling customer complaints and contributing to strategic sales plans.
Applicants must have 3-5 years of experience in sales management, with 2-3 years specifically in the Major Market Account sales. A current RVP written endorsement, a minimum of 12 months in the current role, and a track record of quota attainment are required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industry, strong leadership qualities, and a willingness to travel and work in a virtual environment. Preferred qualifications include a passion for talent development, a positive reputation in the industry, and a succession plan. Soft skills such as the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and a strong leadership presence are also important for this role.
