About the Role The Company is seeking an RVP for Sales, Strategic Accounts to lead its regional sales team and drive the strategic accounts initiative in the U.S. The successful candidate will be responsible for hiring, developing, and leading a team of strategic account executives, with a focus on generating revenue, developing new opportunities, and ensuring the professional completion of complex sales cycles. This role requires a leader who can work with the team to exceed targets, identify and close new growth opportunities, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. The RVP will also be involved in forecasting sales, and negotiating contracts, and must be adept at working with senior management and corporate counsel.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of sales leadership experience in large, enterprise accounts, and a proven track record of over-achievement in quota-carrying SaaS sales roles. A background in sales within the technology industry, particularly in areas such as accounting/ERP, CRM, eCommerce, DXM, or business intelligence, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in start-up or early-stage companies, a deep understanding of e-commerce and retail, and the ability to engage with senior executives to sell value. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage a complex sales process, and a passion for building long-lasting customer relationships are essential. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and experience with sales training methodologies is a plus.
