Job Description
American Behavioral Solutions is searching for passionate, highly motivated and organized individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians to provide in-home and community-based ABA services for families with individuals with Autism Spectrum or related disorders.
Expectations:
Implement treatment plan under clinical direction, supervision, and support of a BCBA to increase desired skills and to decrease challenging behaviors. Work in collaboration with other team members to deliver and implement early intensive behavioral intervention and skill acquisition programming. Provide treatment in center, daycare, home, and/or school settings. Provide one-to-one direct service to individuals and their families. Collaborate with the BCBA team to provide insight into programming changes or suggestions. Accurately keep records of client's progress - training provided (familiarity with Central Reach preferred). Collect data on treatment goals and keep in constant communication with the team on the client's progress. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in college or university (preferred). Possess a Registered Behavior Technician Certificate (preferred). Has experience with ABA and autism (a minimum of one year of experience in working with individuals with special needs is preferred). Reliable transportation. Driver's license. Car insurance. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and be receptive to feedback. Ability to pass a state and federal background check. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
