Position Overview
:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Aguadilla, PR. The primary responsibility of this role is to verify the medical necessity of procedures, tests, or surgeries that have already occurred, as part of the insurance claim process. The RN will assess whether these services meet the criteria for payment or rejection by the client's insurance.
Key Responsibilities
:
Verify if medical procedures, tests, or surgeries were a "medical necessity" for insurance claims.
Navigate multiple systems to accurately assess and document claims.
Make informed decisions on potential payment or rejection of claims based on verification.
Ensure all business operations are conducted in English.
Requirements

Licensing
:
Valid Puerto Rico (PR) RN license.
Florida (FL) endorsement or any other U.S. state license.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience as a Registered Nurse.
Flexibility regarding the location of previous work experience.
Language Skills:
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Bilingual capability required as all business is conducted in English.
Training
:
Comprehensive training will be provided on the client's system and relevant processes.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
