Top Vacation Rental Company in Puerto Rico which manages over 40 properties in the San Juan metro area is looking for a hard worker, fully bilingual (Spanish/English,) individual to work mostly remotely in the administration of a vacation rental business. You will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
Answer emails and calls from prospect guests, provide information about our properties, availability, rates and handle new reservations
Assist with guests before, during, and after their stay
Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are cleaned and ready to accommodate guests' needs
Handle guest requests for extra services
Handle and resolve guest issues or complaints
Ensure the properties are in top shape for guest comfort
Prepare lists of repairs or improvements needed in each apartment and schedule dates to perform them
Coordinate service with plumbers, electricians, AC repairmen and handyman
Update guest guidebooks
Perform any other task assigned by manager
The work is mostly remote but it is expected to frequently visit the properties.
Requirements:
- Must work weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
- Must live no more than 45 mins drive to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
- Must be fully Bilingual with excellent communications skills verbal, written and auditory (Spanish/English)
- Be proficient in computer applications MS Office Suite, including Word & Excel
- Work under pressure
-Have a car in good working condition
Qualifications
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Able to handle difficult situations
Good and positive hospitality, welcoming and friendly attitude
Self-starting individual
Has an organized disposition
Honest
This position requires strong organizational skills, to be resilient and patient, and be able to manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations. It also requires to be able to work both independently and as part of a team
