**The Details:**
Positions start May - June 2022 and extend through mid- to late-September (dates depend on Location).
* Start Date: **May - June, 2022**
* Employment Type: **Full Time, Seasonal** (ideally full season or early/late season)
* Schedule Varies: **32 to 45 hours per week**.

**Responsibilities**
**A day in the life of the Retail Assistant Manager**
* Assist the Manager with the staffing, customer satisfaction, daily procedures and operations.
* Follow all budgetary guidelines for labor and sales goals.
* Coach and ensure your associates are performing their job duties and providing customer service.
* Actively complete reports and evaluations to Managers.
* Work directly with vendors to order products and maintain inventory.
* Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures
* Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Essential Skills and Knowledge:**
Our Assistant Manager will be enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service and detail oriented. We are seeking a candidate that has management experience in retail environment The Assistant Manager position must have skills in effective oral communication, computer, and math in addition to strong problem-solving and resolution.
**Physical Requirements:**
* Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
* Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds.
* Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, boxes, bags of ice, and bundles of wood. Some locations require frequent trips up & down stairs.
* Must be able to bend, kneel, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
* Working safely with required chemicals.
