Guaynabo, Puerto Rico
, for an experienced
Sales Executive
.
We are looking for a candidate who is dynamic, highly motivated, reliable and who understands and appreciates the importance of a team effort.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years sales experience, selling international transportation is required. Experience from a NVOCC background is preferred, but a candidate with VOCC or freight forwarder experience may also apply.
Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of inside and outside sales techniques and procedures, and can demonstrate the ability for business development, client maintenance and procurement of new accounts.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and organization skills.
Must enjoy a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer service minded environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the international transportation sector.
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and expand the company's market share.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities.
Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes affecting international cargo transportation.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and inquiries with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded, fostering long-term business relationships.

Compensation package includes a base salary plus potential for sales commission in the future.
