Scientific - Operations - Sr. Scientific Services Support

Daily Responsibilities/Job Description: • Assist in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Development • Mentor/Train new team members • Work with team lead to develop process improvement initiatives • Pick up and deliver glassware and plastic ware. • Observe the established procedures for the handling and transporting of glassware and contaminated items. • Operate autoclaves for decontamination or sanitization. • Operate glassware washers, dry heat sterilizers and ultrasonic baths • Maintain temperature chart recorders / equipment forms and use proper documentation. • Perform routine inspections/checks on glass wash and autoclave equipment • Prepare items for sanitization including glassware, caps and related articles, employing procedural steps during the process. • Inspect glassware for cleanliness and structural defects. • Routinely checks inventory of glassware, notifying Glassware Lead of deficiencies. • Provide housekeeping of glassware processing areas. • Follow all procedures in performing all aspects of glassware processing. • Perform monthly de-scale and routine maintenance. • Use Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for all paperwork. • Observe all safety precautions and be proactive in raising safety and operational concerns. • Complete all required training in a timely manner. • This role will work closely with other teams to seamlessly deliver lab support services. • Will be required to cross-train and back-up other lab support areas as needed. • Demonstrates appropriate use of relevant equipment/software after training. • Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment.#ZR
