Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Seafood Associate Team Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market - Williamsburg. As a key member of our seafood department, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of seafood associates to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a positive store image. Sales and Profitability: Work with the team leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, and analyze sales reports to identify opportunities for growth. Inventory Management: Assist the team leader in ordering and inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and questions, and maintaining a positive and welcoming store environment. Training and Development: Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge, and mentor them to achieve their career goals. Store Operations: Assist the team leader in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environment, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements Experience: 18+ months retail team member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and operations-related applications. Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for 6-8 hours, and work in a fast-paced environment.
