The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on business strategies that meet legal requirements, particularly in the context of Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care, and other relevant health care programs. This role demands a seasoned attorney with a minimum of 10 years' legal experience, including at least 2 years in health law, and a strong record of success, preferably with a national law firm. The Senior Counsel will also be expected to collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement initiatives that support the company's contracting needs and provide practical legal advice on a range of contracting matters.
Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree, and be a member in good standing of the bar. Essential skills include the ability to research and analyze complex legal issues, manage legal matters with minimal oversight, and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. The role requires a proactive, solution-oriented individual with a high degree of professionalism, sound judgment, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
