We're seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to join our client's forward-thinking team, where you'll work at the intersection of data science and autonomous robotics. If you're driven by solving complex problems and want to help shape the future of energy infrastructure inspection, this role is for you.
In this position, you'll collaborate with the data product team to refine the data processing pipelines and design a cutting-edge internal data science platform. You'll play a key role in maximizing the value of our data, identifying new opportunities for data-driven insights, and setting the standard for the growing data science team. You'll work closely with engineers and management, contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence.
What You'll Do: Enhance and optimize our data processing pipeline to improve efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate in designing and implementing an internal platform to leverage our extensive data sets.Identify and develop new data-driven applications that improve our operations and provide value to our customers.Work on R&D projects, automated data processing, and generating insightful reports.Partner with our interdisciplinary engineering team to foster a culture of innovation.Establish tools, documentation, and best practices for our evolving data science team.What We're Looking For: Deep expertise in data science and machine learning.Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines.Proven track record in designing and conducting experiments with large, complex datasets.Proficiency in numerical computing libraries like NumPy and pandas.Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.At least 5 years of relevant work experience.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Nice to Have: Experience with Linux (Ubuntu) environments.Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP).Familiarity with AWS cloud services.Experience with MATLAB.Work Environment: This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in the Marlborough, MA office (car required) or Cambridge, MA location (Kendall Square), and 3 days working from home.
