WEX is seeking a self-driven, motivated Senior HR Business Partner to join their Global HR Team supporting our Global Service Operations Organization. This is a hybrid role that is both operational and strategic in nature. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for talent strategy, organizational design, change management, analyzing data, managing programs, be a Workday Champion, and act as a liaison to the HR Centers of Excellence.
How you'll make an impact Align strategically with WEXs Global Service Operations function and proactively provide support to help drive achievement of business results. Embedded within the business unit provide HR solutions in the realm of organizational design, strategic project management, merger and acquisition support, employee relations, leadership development, compensation, organizational development, and talent management. Partner with Business Leadership in identifying and operationalizing people initiatives during WEXs transformation journey. Develop and execute HR support strategies and operational initiatives focusing on Employee Recruitment/Relations/Rewards/Retention, Training & Development, and other HR-specific goals critical for effective business teams; Create processes and procedures driving change. Develop, leverage and implement HR solutions to improve the utilization, performance, and retention of WEXs talent resources. Provide objective and solutions-based advice and guidance on effective management practices related to workforce relations and change management. Partner with the Employee Relations COE to recommend actions appropriate for conflict resolution by providing performance management guidance to managers including coaching and counseling - which may include executive level performance guidance and related development. Consult with management to provide expertise and guidance in facilitation, planning and execution and strategy development of employees to drive organizational effectiveness. Ensure consistent application of policies, practices, and strategies. Support with strategic workforce planning, partnerships with key finance partners and headcount management governance. Support retention planning in partnership with the Centers of Excellence including compensation, benefits, HRIS, Employee Relations, and L&D. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence in areas including recruiting, compensation, benefits, HRIS, Employee Relations, and L&D to build, roll out and support HR programs and best practices within the business. Assist with developing and delivering individual and/or group training presentations on a variety of leadership, change management and HR topics. Facilitate meetings/committees and lead projects as needed to include possible merger and acquisition activities. Experience you'll bring Minimum of 8+ years of proven success in a medium to large corporate setting, with national presence. 3+ years in an HR leadership role, proven success in influencing, engaging key partners and leading, with a broad understanding of core HR processes/procedures. Bachelors degree required. Advanced English skills (conversation). Demonstrated experience with business operations, strategy and HR project management. Proven ability to work with, coach and impact change across all levels of an organization. Excellent cross-functional communication skills with strong ability to function across a diverse operational levels. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication, partnering, collaboration and negotiation skills. Demonstrated attention to quality and strategic orientation to work. Demonstrated flexibility, grace under pressure, and respect for the highly confidential nature of the work. Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and effectively to meet frequently changing business-driven timelines. Understanding of Google Suite, Excel, HRIS systems (Workday ideal). Global Experience preferred. Agile knowledge/experience preferred. Previous global service & operations experience preferred. Professional of Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) Certification preferred. The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
