DIRECTV is seeking a qualified Manager / Senior Manager of Title Marketing who will be responsible for driving awareness and viewership for FAST channels and AVOD content on platform. They will develop and execute marketing strategies for individual titles and content franchises.
This role will work closely with various teams including Content, Creative, PR, and Social Media to create compelling campaigns that drive viewer engagement, time on platform and retention.
Overall Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for assigned titles, including series, films, and licensed content.Manage external meetings with content providers: FAST channel owners and AVOD.Own and communicate a seasonal partnership calendar reflecting show launch opportunities, tentpole events, and stunts to maximize tune-in to the platform.Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including content creators, production partners, and internal teams.Work closely with PR, Social Media, and Digital Marketing teams to create integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.Analyze viewer data and market trends to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.Plan and project manage the creation of marketing assets, including trailers, key art, and promotional materials.Collaborate with the Product team to optimize title discovery and recommendation algorithms.Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve future marketing efforts.Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging marketing technologies relevant to the streaming industry.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA is a plus.5+ years of experience in entertainment marketing, with at least 3 years in a management role.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns for TV shows, films, or digital content.Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and content marketing strategies.Experience with data analysis and performance tracking tools to measure campaign effectiveness.Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing concepts and strategies.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Familiarity with the streaming industry and current trends in content consumption.Experience with budget management and resource allocation.This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote A career with us comes with big rewards: DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. Mid (N2): $101,200 - $151,800
High (N3): $111,320 - $166,980
Top (N4): $116,380 - $174,570
Please note that the salary ranges reflect base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits - when you consider all of these together, it represents a pretty impressive total compensation package.
