Residing in the SF Bay Area is not required for this role but as the majority of our operations are in California (and the west coast), preference will be given to candidates on the west coast. Travel to program locations and our corporate office will be required.
Hours: Full Time- Monday- Friday The expected starting wage range is $98,456.90 - $119,190.00 (This wage range is if the candidate lives in the SF Bay Area, if you live elsewhere, the salary range will be adjusted). Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Five (5) years of experience, with progressive responsibilities in accounting. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a concentration of courses in finance and accounting Strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Intermediate to advanced analytical and problem solving skills, including, ability to multi-task, work independently, and prioritize work challenges and projects. Must be at least 18 years of age All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. Executing accurate and timely monthly revenue recognition and reporting, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 Preparing monthly general ledger entries for multiple locations Researching contracts to interpret and document impacts to revenue recognition Collaborating with cross-functional groups to ensure accurate reporting, billing, and collections Preparing the monthly receivable aging reports Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts and subledgers Reviewing and analyzing opportunities for improved workflow and processes, including supporting initiatives for automation and systems implementations Preparing schedules required for corporate compliance, annual audit, and other special projects Preparing annual property statements for property tax assessment Reviewing program financial statements Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, and/or changed at the discretion of management.

The employee is constantly required to sit and occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, twist, bend, pull, and lift and carry items weighing 10 pounds or less as well as to do simple grasping occasionally. The position requires manual deviation, repetition, and dexterity. Visual requirements include computers and books exposure.
