About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Development to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in the oversight of multiple development projects, with a strong focus on affordable and mixed-income multi-family residential development. This role involves all aspects of the development process, from project underwriting to financing, design coordination, construction management, and project close-out. The SVP will also be involved in mentoring and growing the team, as well as representing the company in various capacities, including public and community meetings, and with a range of professional and local stakeholders.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10-12 years of real estate development experience, including at least 3-5 years in affordable and mixed-income multifamily housing. The role requires a proven understanding of affordable finance and experience with various types of real estate funding and state housing programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project underwriting, superb financial and communication skills, and the ability to build and lead effective teams. Supervisory experience of at least 4 years is essential, as is the ability to problem solve, manage multiple projects, and ensure seamless project delivery in line with budget and schedule.
