About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Equity Investments with a focus on the multifamily sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of multifamily acquisitions in their designated region, including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and closing various types of property acquisitions, debt investments, and equity joint venture investments for development. This role requires a minimum of twelve years of experience in commercial real estate, with at least five years as a senior acquisitions professional in the multifamily sector across multiple geographies. The candidate should have a proven track record in originating loans for properties exceeding 200 units and experience in both debt and equity transactions, particularly in the distressed arena.

Key responsibilities for this position include developing and executing a strategic sourcing strategy, fostering industry relationships, supervising and mentoring junior acquisitions officers, and coordinating the investment process from due diligence to closing. The ideal candidate will possess advanced financial modeling skills, proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and the ability to adapt to new technologies. A collaborative work style, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and develop a team are essential. The role also demands a high level of integrity, emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence and persuade effectively. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA, CFA, or equivalent experience considered a plus.
