Position Summary The Shift Lead plays a crucial role in the effective operation of a cannabis retail establishment. This position involves overseeing customer service, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with state and local regulations. You are expected to drive profitability, execute policy and procedure while fostering employee development. The Shift Lead is committed to maintaining a high standard by ensuring customer brand loyalty, and achieving financial and operational success.
Main Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for overseeing store activity including personnel, operations, visual merchandising, sales, KPIs, and the customer experience
Train and Coach/Mentor the team
Train team on meeting KPI targets
Create a fun, challenging and rewarding work environment
Maintain a team of industry-passionate and customer service-focused employees
Create an environment where team members are routinely prepared and recognized for achievement
Troubleshoot POS hardware and communications
Execute company standard operating procedures
Punctual and Reliable leader in the company
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary to enhance the customer experience.
Proactively and collaboratively recommend new and improved processes for all operating procedures
Adhere to, enforce all city, and state OCM regulations and company policies and procedures; educate the team and ensure compliance
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
About You Minimum 21+ years of age
Legally authorized to work in Cannabis in New York
1-3 years related experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to multitask and time manage.
Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment.
Experience working in fast-paced work environment and able to adapt to demands of competing work priorities.
Proven leadership and people management experience.
Cannabis experience a plus but not required.
Salary $24 USD per hour
