Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Supervises Mechanics, Packer/Inspectors, Material Handlers, Support Labor, and Custodial Personnel Establish, with the approval of the Plant Manager, the overall goals and objectives to be met by the shift. Achieve or exceed established productivity objectives. Achieve or exceed established objectives for the reduction of costs due to poor quality. Achieve or exceed established objectives for the reduction of material scrap and waste. Manage employees to maximize their contributions to the attainment of established objectives. Attend all shift change meetings in a timely manner. Review and approve the hours worked by employees on the shift on a daily basis. Complete required production reports. Understand and be able to effectively use Material Safety Data Sheets. Perform any and all other work as assigned by supervisory personnel. Qualifications: A college degree and prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable. Must be a team leader with excellent organization, communication and supervisory skills. Computer experience is highly desirable.
