A Brief Overview
The Communications Officer is responsible for developing a cohesive digital media strategy that supports brand growth and business results by increasing awareness and conversions about the bank and its products and services.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Develops the overall execution of social media strategy.
Devises strategies to drive engagement, support business growth and maintain optimal levels of service level through social media channels.
Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications teams to ensure social media and digital marketing campaigns are aligned to lines of business objectives and overall brand strategy.
Develop social media content and provide direction to the digital advertising agency.
Act as a social media & digital marketing media subject matter expert providing best practices, trends and recommendations to marketing program managers and business partners.
Establishes and manages strategic alliances with key stakeholders (media, bloggers/influencers, community & student organizations, etc.) to maximize brand exposure and content creation for social, digital, and internal channels.
Implement and execute brand and product calendars for social media and internal digital channels.
Monitors results to ensure initiatives contribute to overall business results and pursue opportunities to maximize investments and minimize costs for enhanced performance.
Manages the assigned budget and establishes measurable objectives and constantly monitors results to adjust plans when necessary.
Complies with regulatory and administrative processes, such as Vendor Management, while executing functions.
Trains and supervise Community Management Team in FLSC.
Other Responsibilities:
Assists the Communications Manager on special projects or events.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.

Project Management competencies a must, as well as strong organization and time-management skills.
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, preferably with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and SharePoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.
Minimum Requirements You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or related field, preferably a master's degree.
Must have between 8 to 10 years of experience in Digital Marketing or Digital Corporate Communications, with a solid background in digital strategy.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in English and Spanish.
