Job Description The Opportunity:

The Global Consumer Insights department at Mattel, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Analyst with qualitative and quantitative research experience. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, an innovative thinker, and poised presenter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What Your Impact Will Be: The Consumer Insights Sr. Analyst is responsible for duties including but not limited to the following:

Brand:
Acting as a liaison between the Consumer Insights department and key brand partners through relationship building, proactively anticipating consumer research needs and representing the 'voice of the consumer' during brand meetings. Serving as a trusted advisor to brand teams when questions regarding the consumer arise. With the support of your manager, executing qualitative and quantitative research projects, including product development, inspiration and innovation research, brand strategy, communication and packaging research, usability research, and preference testing for Mattel brands. Reporting and presenting insightful findings with actionable recommendations to key partners Collaborate with various internal team members through research process, including other Consumer Insights partners, Business Insights, Strategy and regional counterparts. Qualifications What We're Looking For: Candidate must have the ability to efficiently handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and be very detail-oriented. Candidate must have analytic problem-solving skills with an advanced understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Candidate must be able to consistently demonstrate the ability to plan, execute, and complete a wide variety of projects in a timely manner. Strong analytical thinking and writing skills are required. Candidate must be able to synthesize multiple sources of information into meaningful conclusions and recommendations. Candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams Candidate must be able to present insights with confidence and represent the 'voice of the consumer' in meetings with brand partners Candidate must display good interpersonal skills, including a positive, cooperative attitude - both inside and outside the department. Candidate must have the ability manage relationships and administrative processes with multiple research suppliers Candidate must have some previous experience with trend identification Previous experience with global research is a bonus Ability to evaluate methodologies for innovation and improvements is appreciated The annual base salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $113,000.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.
