Job Overview: As a Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the development, enhancement, and performance of our client's personal lines insurance products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, evaluate product performance, and provide actionable insights to optimize product offerings and strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Product Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth analysis of personal lines products, including market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback. Develop strategies to enhance product offerings and identify growth opportunities.
Data Management: Utilize data analytics tools to gather, interpret, and present data related to product performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards.
Product Development: Collaborate with product managers and development teams to define product requirements, create business cases, and support the product development lifecycle. Provide insights to guide product design and feature enhancements.
Market Research: Perform market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats. Use research findings to recommend product improvements and innovations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, pricing, and marketing teams, to ensure alignment on product strategy and execution. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance against benchmarks. Identify areas for improvement and propose data-driven solutions.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPCU) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in product analysis, preferably within the personal lines insurance sector. Proven track record of working with insurance products and understanding of the P&C insurance industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and experience with product management software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and actionable manner.
Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
