Job Description Terms of Employment: 12-month Exemption Status: Exempt Salary Scale: UB G20-G21 https://www.ccboe.com/careers/salary-scales EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
•Master's degree in education, pupil personnel, or psychology/sociology, administration and supervision, or a related human service field preferred.
•Minimum of five years of experience working in an educational setting.
•Fluent in Spanish preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS
•Experience in project implementation and management.
•Experience in managing databases.
•Knowledge of investigative procedures.
•Ability to assume responsibility and act independently.
•Excellent oral and written communication and human relation skills.
•Ability to work with students, teachers, school leadership staff, governmental and community members.
•Current computer skills.
•Applicants must have and maintain a valid drivers' license.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
•Keep abreast of the latest materials and techniques in the areas of assigned responsibilities.
•Supervise, maintain, and interface with MSDE regarding CCPS bullying, threats, intimidation, and harassment program.
•Maintain CCPS database regarding Bullying, Harassment, and Intimidation (BHI) documentation and report trends to CCPS administrative personnel.
•Ability to communicate and address concerns with BHI with relevant school personnel.
•Conduct in-depth and complex residency investigations including searching databases, conducting surveillance, conducting interviews, and presenting findings to the Director of Student Services.
•Ability to address investigative findings in appeal processes.
•Knowledge of and ability to make decisions using current board policy on school transfer requests. In addition, receive and process School Change Requests including processing applications, coordinating with necessary personnel regarding applications, communicating with other central office and school personnel, developing denial/acceptance letters, and maintaining the database and filing system.
•Maintain strict confidentiality.
•Understand home-school regulation and provide direction/supervision of the home-schooling office.
•Assist with International Registrations, including overseeing Registration and Records Secretary while working collaboratively with the International Registration Coordinator.
•Ability to drive CCPS vehicle.
•Other duties as assigned.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The environmental factors and/or physical requirements of this position include the following: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
