THE VENUE

XFINITY Center is the home arena of the Maryland Terrapins.The Maryland Club is an exclusive lounge and suite area located within the arena at the University of Maryland. It provides premium food and beverage offerings in a vibrant atmosphere for club members and suite holders on game days, offering a luxurious experience.

THE ROLE

Suite Attendants are responsible for providing top-tier hospitality to guests in premium suites at the XFINITY Center. Suite Attendants ensure that each suite is set up for success, including delivering orders, maintaining cleanliness, and breaking down suites post-event. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests throughout the game.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Greet guests in the suites and provide exceptional service from pre-game to post-game.Set up suites with pre-ordered food and beverages before guests' arrival, ensuring cleanliness and organization.Take day-of-game orders and deliver food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.Keep the suites and buffet areas clean throughout the event, regularly clearing used items and replenishing supplies.Maintain, clean, and organize buffet equipment to ensure it meets the standards of a premium experience.Collect payment and reconcile cash and card transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.Conduct post-event breakdown of suites, including clearing tables, disposing of trash, and restocking supplies.Assist with inventory management, reporting shortages or low stock to the supervisor.Monitor guests' needs throughout the game and respond promptly to any requests.Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations regarding the sale of food and alcohol.Participate in pre-shift meetings and post-event debriefs to enhance the guest experience and improve operations.Maintain a polished and professional appearance in accordance with Legends standards.Adhere to all company policies and health regulations, ensuring safety and hygiene practices are followed. SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS Attend mandatory team meetings and training sessions.Assist with organizing inventory and maintaining stock levels.Perform general cleaning tasks and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Provide support to the team with additional responsibilities when needed. QUALIFICATIONS At least 18 years of age.Previous experience in a hospitality-driven role, ideally in a high-end club, restaurant, or suite environment.Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.Excellent customer service skills and a personable, friendly demeanor.Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 pounds, including up and down stairs or ramps.Must be able to work fluently in English and communicate effectively with guests and team members.Flexible availability to work an event-based schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.High school diploma or equivalent requiredTIPS Training RequiredServSafe Food Handlers Preferred SAFETY
