The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring tax managers and associates, as well as leading the department in identifying and implementing tax planning and consulting opportunities. This role requires a strategic leader with the ability to manage client engagements, review and manage various tax-related documents, and communicate effectively with clients and tax authorities.

Applicants for the Tax Director position at the company should possess a minimum of 10-15 years' relevant experience, with a strong focus on individual tax compliance and planning. A background in partnership tax and experience with trust & estates is highly desirable. The role demands a leader with strong technical acumen, the ability to manage client engagements, and a talent for leading a team in a dynamic and remote work environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, preparing or reviewing complex tax documents, conducting tax research, and leading the department in knowledge of relevant software and processes.
