Tooling Design Engineer

•Design fixtures, gages, and tooling to support the manufacturing process for

aerospace hardware.
•Utilize Siemens NX to create tooling designs and blueprints.
•Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team on project development

and investigations related to tooling.
•Assess tooling builds for internal production or outsourcing to tooling vendors.

interact with tooling vendors as needed.
•Work closely with the manufacturing engineering team to incorporate design

changes or specifications.

Process Improvement:
•Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, adhering to safe work

practices.
•Implement measures to reduce costs, enhance quality, and increase throughput

for both new and existing processes.
•Maintain tooling blueprint storage location in compliance with customer policies

and procedures.

Support and Collaboration:
•Provide support on the shop floor.
•Assist in the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process.
