Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Not specified for out-of-state MRI techs Certifications: - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification Must-Have: Experience with EPIC is preferred Job Description: - Work as an Interventional Radiology Technician with a 4x10 hour day shift. - Participate in on-call rotations with three primary weekdays and three backup weekdays. - Complete fingerprinting as soon as possible after contract signing, especially if currently residing outside the state but within driving distance. - RTO (Request Time Off) must be built into the contract and required with submission. - Locals within a 60-mile radius are accepted at the same rate. - Former employees are eligible for rehire in a travel assignment after a gap of six months or more; current employees are ineligible for travel positions. - Ensure all candidates are aware of the urgency of the fingerprinting process necessary before starting. - Orientation consists of 24 hours. - A COVID-19 vaccine is not required, but the flu vaccine is mandatory with medical exemptions only. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to function well under the pressures of a fast-paced healthcare environment.
