The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and execution of strategies that strengthen existing relationships and foster new ones in line with the company's growth and strategic goals. The VP will be a recognized commercial figure for the Advanced Therapies Service Offering and will be expected to lead major customer visits, attend commercial events, and support the global sales team in the execution of transition plans for strategic accounts. The role requires a leader who can effectively manage a team, allocate resources, and act as a point of escalation for customer concerns, as well as support various executive-level meetings with commercial insight and operational backing.
This role demands a seasoned professional with a PhD and at least 12 years' of senior-level business experience in the biopharmaceutical sector, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 15 years' in the same capacity, coupled with a personal network of industry contacts. Essential experience includes over 10 years' in senior-level business development, sales, or marketing within the biopharmaceutical industry, as well as significant insight into IP and legal issues. The VP will provide leadership to the AT team, manage key accounts, and support the Commercial Leadership Team in aligning strategies with company goals.
