The successful candidate will be the chief architect of the technology strategy, ensuring that the IT infrastructure is in alignment with the company's ambitious growth plans and is capable of seamlessly scaling with the business. This pivotal role demands a minimum of 10 years' of experience in IT leadership, with at least 5 years' in a VP or senior management position within a SaaS or technology-focused environment. The VP of IT will be responsible for leading a high-performing IT team, managing the technology roadmap, and optimizing systems, security, and processes to support both customers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities for the VP of IT include overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure and operations, managing the IT budget, and ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of all IT systems and services. The role also requires the ability to stay abreast of emerging technologies, drive innovation, and lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team management, deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity, and a strong background in software development lifecycles. Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and a solid understanding of IT governance frameworks and best practices are essential. The VP of IT will also be expected to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
