About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the effort to secure clinical research organization and pharmaceutical sponsor clients, with a focus on revenue generation and long-term partnerships. This role involves working closely with the Chief Business Officer to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, identifying and capitalize on new business opportunities, and maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients. The VP of BD will also be expected to represent the company at industry events, conduct market analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials.

Applicants must have a BA or BS in business, marketing, life science, or a related field, with an MBA preferred, and at least 7-10 years of relevant sales experience in a clinical research setting. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in sales, including experience in multi-site study opportunities and a strong network of relationships within the industry. Essential skills include the ability to develop and execute sales strategies, manage a sales team, and work effectively with CRM systems. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of the clinical research industry, be adept at problem-solving, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
