The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business development initiatives and establishing strategic partnerships with a range of industry players, including consultants, technology partners, and WMS providers. This role is multi-faceted, involving the identification and qualification of sales opportunities, as well as the education and engagement of key partners. The Vice President will also be involved in thought leadership activities, such as talks, meetings, webinars, and blogs, and will be expected to travel, mostly within North America, to nurture these relationships.
Candidates for this position should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in sales, business development, or consulting, with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships with MHE partners and a strong background in warehouse automation and/or robotics. Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and drive for success. A technical background, engineering degree, or equivalent experience is a plus, as well as the ability to speak multiple languages and proximity to an international airport.
