The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading the enterprise risk management strategy and objectives. This role involves working closely with senior executives to identify and manage strategic, financial, and operational risks. The Vice President will also be tasked with overseeing the development and implementation of risk management programs, including business continuity and disaster readiness, crisis management, and third-party/vendor security risk assessments. The Vice President will be expected to be at the forefront of proactive auditing approaches, and knowledge of Hi-Trust is preferred. Management experience, including hiring, training, and developing staff, is also a key requirement for this executive position.
As a key executive leader, the role requires a highly credible risk professional with strong financial acumen, at least 15 years' of experience in risk management, and extensive knowledge of the health insurance industry. Candidates for the Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management position at the company should be seasoned business leaders with a background in risk management within the health insurance industry. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (with a Master's degree preferred) in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, or risk management, and one or more of the following certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA). The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in leading major risk assessments and a deep understanding of compliance policies, regulations, and procedures.
