The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the financial budgeting and forecasting processes, with a strong emphasis on cost management and profitability. This role involves close collaboration with the leadership team to develop and assess performance against financial plans, as well as working with functional leaders to identify business trends and opportunities. The VP of Finance will also be the primary contact for investor relations, leading strategic financial decisions, and mentoring the accounting and FP&A teams.
A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or an MBA with a minimum of 10 years' FP&A experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SaaS KPIs, be adept at setting annual budgets, and possess strong data analysis skills to support sound business decisions. Proven experience in a top-notch Series B finance organization, a strategic thinker, and the ability to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation are essential. The role demands a high level of empathy, a love for the customer, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
