About the Role The Company is in search of a VP of Finance to take on a pivotal role in overseeing its accounting and finance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of key activities, including fund accounting with a focus on reviewing various financial reports, and will also be tasked with overseeing interactions with the firm's 3rd party administrator. This role involves close collaboration with the CAO and COO, as well as with the VP of Administration and Fund Administrator. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in fund accounting, procedures, and controls, and be prepared to manage aspects of tax compliance and reporting.

Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 6-10 years of finance and accounting experience within the financial services industry, with a preference for those with a background in a Big4 environment. A CPA license is considered ideal for this role. The position requires a candidate who is well-versed in fund accounting, with a solid understanding of related procedures and controls. The role is offered as a full-time, hybrid position, and the candidate should be prepared to work in this model.
