About the Role The Company is seeking a VP of Finance to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key partner and leader in the organization, responsible for overseeing accounting, finance, and some operational functions. This role involves close collaboration with the c-suite on business strategy and supporting future fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate must be a seasoned finance and accounting professional with a background in SaaS and/or renewable companies, and should be prepared to lead the organization in financial analysis, budgeting, and maintaining communication with various capital providers.

Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a degree in accounting or finance, with an MBA or master's degree preferred, and a CPA designation is also desirable. A minimum of 10 years' of work experience, particularly in a finance, revenue/sales operations, or strategy role within a scaling organization, is required. The role demands a tech-oriented individual with a strong attention to detail, comfortable across various platforms, and experienced in creating and maintaining financial models. Familiarity with energy and environmental issues, as well as a passion for the environmental mission, is a key qualification for this position. The VP of Finance will be expected to be a self-starter, capable of leading the organization in financial strategy and decision-making.
