About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead the development and implementation of HR strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, from employee relations and talent acquisition to payroll and benefits, and will provide strategic insight and hands-on leadership in all these areas. This role involves close collaboration with managers to shape the company's culture and support its growth. Key responsibilities include ensuring HR policies and practices are in compliance with employment law and company guidelines, leading and coaching the HR team, overseeing investigations and serving as the Chief Negotiator for collective bargaining agreements.

Applicants for the Vice President of Human Resources position at the company should have a minimum of ten years of HR experience, with at least five years in a management role. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field is required. The role demands a strong background in HR principles, employment law, and best practices, as well as experience in strategic planning, goal setting, and project management. The ability to make quick, responsible decisions in a fast-paced environment and experience with a unionized workforce are desirable. The candidate should be adept at handling work pressures, be capable of leading process improvements, and be committed to fostering a culture that aligns with the company's values. PHR or SPHR Certification is preferred.
