The successful candidate will be an experienced and innovative editorial leader with a strong background in content creation, team building, and the launch of new editorial products. Applicants must have a proven track record in recruiting and managing creative teams, as well as the ability to lead with empathy, and leverage data and experience to solve complex problems. The role requires a leader who is committed to continuous improvement, open to learning, and not afraid to experiment and make mistakes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' of related experience, or 8 years' with an advanced degree, and a strong understanding of technical trends. Key requirements include demonstrated success in newsletter launches, excellent analytical skills, and experience in presenting at the executive or conference level. The VP should be an effective communicator, a strong collaborator, and be able to translate business objectives into key results to motivate their team.
