The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of program development, including pipeline management, strategic capture, and proposal development for Army opportunities. This senior-level role requires a high-performing individual with the ability to independently represent the company, maintain key business development contacts, and lead in the pursuit of strategic business opportunities. The role also involves recommending and implementing business development and marketing strategies to drive growth, as well as overseeing market analysis and competitive activity.
Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's or MBA degree, or equivalent work experience, and a minimum of 10 years in the military training and simulation business area. Experience with Department of Defense organizations, particularly with significant Army training and simulation customers, is essential. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in successful capture and proposal experience for large-scale efforts, exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level customers and internal counterparts. A strong understanding of government contracting and acquisition practices, as well as the ability to become a subject matter expert in the field, is also required. The candidate should be innovative, a problem-solver, and have the ability to travel as needed.
