The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing the charitable giving activities in the market, including grant database administration, budget management, and ensuring compliance with giving guidelines and procedures. This role demands a detail-oriented, experienced professional with a background in public affairs, communications, or marketing, particularly in the areas of charitable giving and grant-making. The individual will be expected to represent the company at community events, strategize and execute local charitable contributions, and leverage a data-driven approach to meet specific market needs.

Applicants should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in diverse charitable giving, grant making, or corporate communications/marketing, with a strong preference for those with experience in state and local government relations. The role requires exemplary writing, verbal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The Vice President - Public Affairs Market Manager will also be responsible for supporting government affairs relations, increasing the visibility of the company's charitable activities, and managing colleague engagement programs. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and experience in banking or financial services is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, have a solid work ethic, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
