The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily functional management of client needs and leading the day-to-day work of the Strategy team. This role demands a strategic thinker who can define and lead HCP media strategy, manage a team of direct and indirect reports, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions for clients. The VP, Strategy will be a key point of contact for multiple critical clients, with a deep understanding of media channels and a proven track record in media research and planning.
Applicants must have a minimum of 7-8 years of media planning experience, with at least 3 years in a management role. A background in cross-channel media planning and familiarity with standard media research and planning tools is essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of previous experience in pharma media, spanning various conditions, disease states, and audiences. The role requires a hands-on approach to team management, including onboarding, performance management, and providing training to ensure the team meets client and agency requests. The VP, Strategy will also be involved in client interactions, shaping marketing priorities, and will be accountable for the overall media strategy and budget allocation on each account. The ability to push for continuous improvement and contribute to organic growth and new business efforts is a key aspect of the role.
