The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team in the development and implementation of a client proxy voting policy aligned with the new service, as well as conducting company engagements that reflect the sustainability priorities of participating clients. This senior role requires a strategic and proactive approach to supporting clients who opt-in to the service, with a particular emphasis on climate and other sustainability-related topics. The VP will also be expected to represent the company's efforts in broader sustainability research and product offerings, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure that the service is in line with client expectations and the emerging sustainability landscape.

Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in asset stewardship, including company engagement, and a strong understanding of sustainability-related topics. A background in engaging on climate risks is preferred. The role demands an individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, the ability to navigate a complex environment, and a proven track record of effective relationship building. A graduate degree in a relevant discipline or a CFA designation is beneficial, and candidates should be detail-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The VP will also be responsible for coaching and training junior team members and supporting the Head of Sustainability Stewardship to ensure the success of the service.
