Job Overview:
We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including production planning, order fulfillment, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse supervision, shipping and receiving, and transportation planning.
Duties:
Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock
Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
Responsible for the overall operation of a warehouse, including safety, compliance,
certifications, executing sales conformance, administrative duties, accounting and
assisting manage property.
Responsible for working together with government agencies USDA, DOT to ensure the safety, security, and compliance standards are met.
Handle merchandising, controlling inventory, management of the personnel and
scheduling and staffing, among other duties.
In charge for the various aspects of the warehouse operations and should have strong knowledge of the issues pertaining to the facility.
Must also be able to communicate and execute solutions in a very effective manner.
Utilize staffing and equipment through lad planning, unloading, staging, building
cargo, pick and pack.
Must ensure that relevant local, state and federal regulations are met, as well as
promote and encourage safety.
Provide excellent customer service, as well as oversee the hiring, training, and
development of their workforce (including the office)
Must be able to assist manage the warehouse within budget, execute a safety,
compliance, and maintenance program, keep their area of work professional and
clean and clearly communicate issues relevant to individual staff members or the team as a whole.
Handle customer complaints, implement SOP processes to improve service levels.
Direct transportation and warehouse operations to maintain efficiency, profitability,
and customer satisfaction.
Help the executive management team conduct ongoing safety audits, meet with
individual staff members, attend company safety meetings, and participate or direct
other work activities designed to promote work safety and encourage continuing
education among staff members.
Implement changes to transportation services, policies or scheduling as needed.
Initiate and direct investigations to resolve shipper or customer complaints and verify their authenticity and accuracy.
Skills:
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and software
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team
- Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes and best practices
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures and systems
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve warehouse performance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
