X-Ray Supervisor Job Description Optum, a clinician-led care organization, is seeking a skilled X-Ray Supervisor to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. As a member of our radiology team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our X-Ray department.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage technologist schedules to optimize workflow and maximize clinical services.
Communicate effectively with radiologists, front desk staff, and other departments to resolve staffing challenges and ensure seamless operations.
Perform clinical exams as needed and maintain a high level of quality and accuracy.
Develop and implement clinical x-ray protocols to improve patient care and workflow efficiency.
Lead the preparation and oversight of DOH inspections and practice health and safety inspections.
Independently resolve issues and coordinate resources to facilitate workflow and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements: ARRT certification/licensure
NYS Radiology License
Knowledge of standard policies, procedures, and protocols to supervise the department
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with staff and physicians
